Ellefson Implement, Inc. was established in 1935, in Flandreau, South Dakota, by Willis Ellefson. His son Robert became part of the ownership team in the late 1960's, and in 1969 the father and son purchased, what was at that time, Frazier's Inc., the John Deere Dealer in Mitchell, SD. Together, they operated two stores, until Willis retired, and the Flandreau store was closed. Today, Robert continues to be involved in the business, while his son Max Ellefson, continues on as the third generation, locally owned family store, here, at our current location in Mitchell, SD - Proudly representing the John Deere line of quality farm, lawn and garden, and commercial worksite products.
